Youth Crafting

Via Zoom

Youth between the ages of 10 and 17 are invited to participate in one (or all three sessions) of our youth crafting.

We will be making:

• beaded pipe-cleaner Indian corn
• Tissue flowers
• Suncatchers

Dates:

• July 6, 2020, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM
• July 13, 2020, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM
• July 20, 2020, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM

Supplies will be provided for those registered. To register, contact Frankie Massicotte. Participants will need to download and install Zoom on their cellphone, tablet, or desktop.

Presentations will be facilitated by FWC Parenting support workers with time for discussions and Q & A.

Tonight's topic:

How to cope with life in a pandemic and it impacts on your mental health. With psychologist Paula Lorimer.

Join KMHC nutritionist Chantal Haddad and KSCS Parenting worker Frankie Massicotte for

Snack Preparation

for children.

A  different snack will be prepared each week (three weeks). A free kit will be available to the children who are registered. The kit includes the recipes and ingredients for that week's recipes.

Today's Recipe:  Banana Pops

Participants can prepare the snack at any time but must submit a photograph of the final result to be eligible for a prize.
