Kahnawà:ke Shakotiia'takéhnhas Community Services is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Trunk or Treat event. This family-oriented event is designed to engage residents from the outlying areas of our community in Halloween festivities. This year’s event is set to be exceptional, featuring food trucks, games, and activities suitable for all ages.
The success of Trunk or Treat hinges on the participation of community members and organizations who will register and decorate their vehicle trunks to distribute “treats” to families. These “treats” need not be limited to candy; they may include promotional items, healthy snacks, or other delightful goodies.
Community members are invited to register their trunks under one of two categories: Scary or Funny/Cutest. Each category will offer a $1,000 cash prize for the winner. Additionally, all registered community members will have a chance to win an additional $1,000 cash prize through a random draw.
Organizations are also encouraged to participate by registering their trunks. The organization with the most creative trunk will be awarded a pizza lunch valued at $250.
