Reclaiming Your Language

Objectives:
Ieronhienha:wi will be sharing her background; how she learned Kanien’kéha and what helped her to become a speaker. She’ll discuss:
- Learning Kanien’kéha in today’s reality; her language revitalization efforts and how she encourages others to speak.
- Challenges and strategies as a second language learner, to maintain the language at home and in everyday life.
- She’ll give strategies that participants can take home and incorporate.
