Into Action: Fetal alcohol and other neurobehavioral conditions: Understanding and application of a brain based approach.
Our brains are very unique and individual. Each person learns differently and works differently.
The Into Action Training is about looking at and understanding neurobehavioral conditions that are related from alcohol exposure while in utero, to brain damage from various traumatic brain injury, emotional trauma, genetics, illness, anoxia (lack of oxygen during child birth) and other drugs.
The hope is that once you have completed the training you will be able to identify when someone’s brain works differently and you will be able to change the environment and support the child to succeed.
You will leave the training with the skills to do an observation log, explore your own values, you’ll know how to do neurobehavioral screening tool and create Functional Neurobehavioral Assessment: Fit and Accommodations Plan.
