Environment Canada has issued a heat warning that could persist through Saturday. Temperatures are expected to exceed the 30 Degree Celsius. The temperatures combined with humidity will give humidex values of 40 degrees.
The White House will be available for elders from 10:00am – 5:00 pm until the heat wave breaks. Elders will be required to wear a mask and maintain the physical distancing measures. Masks will be provided if you do not have one.
Elders who are going to access the white house during the work week are asked to call reception at 450-632-6880. On the weekend, elders are to call 514-554-1352 and a worker will screen for COVID symptoms and ensure staff at the White House know to expect you.
