(Kahnawake – March 23, 2020) Due to the COVID-19 global health pandemic, Kahnawake Shakotiia’takehnhas Community Services has entered into essential services. There will be limited workers in the building, however, this does not change the delivery of services. ALL essential psychosocial services are available.
The following measures have been put in place when staff are not physically in the office:
- IT is providing staff with access to their KSCS e-mail.
- Calls made to KSCS extensions are being forwarded to staff at home.
Appointments (e.g. counselling) are also being offered by telephone or video.
The process to access Intake services and/or After-Hours Response remains unchanged. During office hours (8:30am-4:30pm) Intake services can be reached via telephone at 450-632-6880 and or email at intake@kscskahnawake.ca
After 4:30 pm, services can be accessed by calling the Kahnawake Peacekeepers at 450-632-6505 and requesting to speak with the After-Hours Response Worker.
