(Kahnawake – March 13, 2020) In an effort to support community emergency response efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 virus, Kahnawake Shakotiia’takehnhas Community Services (KSCS) are suspending all non-essential services for the next 2 weeks effective immediately.
The decision to go to essential services was made in consultation with Kahnawake’s Public Safety Division. Clients of KSCS who already have appointments booked with a counsellor are encouraged to contact them before coming to our offices.
These measures will be in effect for the next 2 weeks unless the community is informed otherwise. The community is encouraged to visit our website or Facebook page for additional updates.
