Women's Addiction Recovery Group

The group will meet weekly at the Language Nest for eight sessions beginning Thursday, October 17, 2019 and ending on Thursday, December 12, 2019. Groups will be held in the same building as the women's group but in different rooms and with different facilitators. Childcare, taxi service, and dinner are available.

Time: 4:00–5:30 PM

Topics include:

  • Building resilience through cultural teachings
  • Learning about the impacts of multi-generational trauma
  • Talking circles
  • Coping with cravings
  • Beading as medicine
  • Plus guest speakers!

The Circle of Moms Support Group: A spin-off of from the Nobody’s Perfect Parenting Program. Women who are willing to improve their parenting skills, open to look at family dynamics, personal strengths and weaknesses, help with an open heart, honesty and practice new opportunities.

This will be a safe place for Moms to share, learn and be nurtured by women, sisters, and mothers.
