The office will reopen for regular business hours at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3rd.

The Alzheimer Society provides a wealth of information on Alzheimer’s disease, warning signs, diagnosis and treatment, care giving, risk factors, research and other related topics.

The Alzheimer Society offers a range of support services including support groups that provide a safe place to share information, feelings and experiences both for people with the disease and caregivers.

Information meetings, workshops and support groups are offered in the community as requested.

• Support Group for Single Mothers

Open to any single mother seeking support and advice on:

  • Stress Management
  • Child Behavior & Discipline
  • Financial Stability
  • Communication
  • Custody
  • Self-Care

This support group will be neither a therapy session nor a forum to male-bash. Rather, our goal is allow the participants to share experiences raising their children as single mothers and to assist them in their quest to effectively parent on their own.

  • Location: KSCS Whitehouse (next to MCK)
  • Soup and refreshments will be served
