Reigniting the Flame

Our culture is filled with amazing stories of acts of courage, heroism, villainy, and cosmic events that shape our very being. Our culture is also filled with guidance, power and knowledge for all of creation…but sometimes, we still have questions. So let’s answer those questions so we can reignite the flame within us!

What’s going on: A five day cultural workshop on the Creation Story, midwinter ceremonies, the four sacred ceremonies, the clan system, and Kaianere'ko: wa (Great Law)

• Who’s invited: Youth between 12–17 years of age
• Who’s presenting: Condoled Sub-Chief Aronhiaies Herne (Tehanakarine) and guests
• When is it:: August 15th-19th
• What time does it start: 10:00 AM—3:00 PM with three evenings (6:00 PM— 8:00 PM)
• Location: Family Wellness Center (Near Mohawk Trail Longhouse)

Awesome daily lunches will be provided as well as incentives.

The Teen Social Club is holding a Father's Day fundraising BBQ.

• Where: Assisted Living Services Building, across from JR's Garage
• When: Friday, June 17, rain or shine!
• Time: 4:00 PM — 7:00 PM

Take out is available.
They will also be selling half and half tickets and there will be prizes for Dads.

KSCS is hosting a Recovery Management Group for Women beginning May 31, 2016.

Sessions will be held every Tuesday until July 19, 2016 9:30 am – 11:30 am @ KSCS

Drama and Onkwanen:ra Summer Programs will be having Registration Day at the Whitehouse, doors open at 8:00 a.m.

KSCS offices will be closed for the Planting Day holiday on Monday, May 23, 2016.
