Reigniting the Flame

Our culture is filled with amazing stories of acts of courage, heroism, villainy, and cosmic events that shape our very being. Our culture is also filled with guidance, power and knowledge for all of creation…but sometimes, we still have questions. So let’s answer those questions so we can reignite the flame within us!

What’s going on: A five day cultural workshop on the Creation Story, midwinter ceremonies, the four sacred ceremonies, the clan system, and Kaianere'ko: wa (Great Law)

  • Who’s invited: Youth between 12–17 years of age
  • Who’s presenting: Condoled Sub-Chief Aronhiaies Herne (Tehanakarine) and guests
  • When is it:: August 15th-19th
  • What time does it start: 10:00 AM—3:00 PM with three evenings (6:00 PM— 8:00 PM)
  • Location: Family Wellness Center (Near Mohawk Trail Longhouse)

Awesome daily lunches will be provided as well as incentives.

Planting Day Closure
