The Realities of Early Intervention in Development and Behaviour

Objectives

  • To understand the rationale for/against early intervention.
  • To learn about some of the developmental and behavioural conditions that occur in early childhood.
  • To understand the difference between evaluation and diagnosis.
  • To learn about the concepts of management, intervention, and treatment.

Presenter: Dr. Shuvo Ghosh, MD, FAAP, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at McGill/Montreal Children's Hospital and Co-Director of the Meraki Health Centre, Montreal.

Our Gang Registration

Movie in the Park

Movie in the Park

Special movie showing of Star Wars (the original 1977 version)

  • Date: July 15, 2015
  • Time: 6:00 PM
  • Place: Karonhianonhnha School

There will be a free BBQ (until supplies last). The movie will start after sunset. In case of rain, the movie will be moved indoors at the Karonhianonhna School.

Special characters have been invited to the event for pictures. A special themed backdrop will be available for pictures (bring your own cameras).

This is a family event. Wear your Star Wars costumes. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and mosquito repellent.

This is a drug and alcohol free event. Sponsored by Violence Prevention Month.
